PLEASE HELP US TO SAVE LIVES

OPERATION #Counting Lives #Saving Lives

The world has never faced a crisis like COVID-19. The pandemic is impacting communities everywhere. It’s never been more urgent to support our communities that are in crisis.

Make a donation - today we have to be in solidarity, today we need each other.

Think of giving not as a duty but as a privilege.

The impact of the coronavirus has extended far beyond those who have become infected. With such a staggering number of people in quarantine and more becoming sick, needs quickly mount. Everything from basics, like food to emergency financial assistance to pay for things like rent is urgently needed as people experience lost wages due to illness or quarantine restrictions.

In our communities, where not everyone may have access to insurance, financial help to facing the COVID-19 is desperately needed to ensure people don’t avoid seeking treatment or testing because they don’t have insurance.

As first responders, we continue offering our critical services, mainly focused on Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment, but in this unprecedented situation, we decided to go beyond and launched the Operation "Counting Lives, Saving Lives" which is a multi-faceted grassroots campaign premised on the values of self-determination, collaboration, and utilizing a hub and spoke model that seeks to address the needs of our community during this COVID-19 Health Pandemic.

COVID-19 - The Reality of Our Communities

Ms. G is a single mother of two who tested positive for COVID-19 and recently lost her job, her landlord is asking for the rent, and the limited food she can buy for her family is not enough.
Mr. J called us for help because, in his own words, he feels desperate. He and his wife have lost their jobs and, due to their immigration status, have been unable to find a new job, are not eligible for social assistance, and have no access to medical care.
Ms. A, a mother of three, called us because her husband, who recently lost his job, began to binge drink. She does not know what to do and is extremely concerned.
