What Began With A Formula

Combined With A Philosophy

The Tree of Unity emerges from the integration of the equation and the guiding principles of Ubuntu, Sankofa, and Tao. Ubuntu defines interconnection — the tree’s elements exist in relationship, reflecting community and shared growth. Sankofa anchors the structure in memory, suggesting that forward expansion is sustained by honoring origin. Tao governs harmony and balance, expressed through proportion, symmetry, and the dialogue between positive and negative space. Together, these principles shape the tree as a living architectural metaphor. It represents a system where connection, memory, and equilibrium converge.
